Joe and Danica Kiedinger own Salon Fifty Four as well as Prophit Marketing, located above the salon. When Joe and Danica purchased the building at 154 N. Broadway in 2010, they were delighted to have inherited two tenants: a high-end salon and a restaurant. Two years later, the owner of the salon decided to pursue another path, which left Joe and Danica and two remaining stylists with a decision to make: Shut the salon down, rent to another salon owner, or take ownership of the salon. They all met on a Sunday evening: Joe, Danica, Rossemary and Travis. At that meeting, Joe and Danica decided to become owners of the salon and create something special. After all, they knew how to run a business and Rossemary and Travis (co-managers) knew how to provide great service. Then the following February an unexpected but timely development occurred: BBN salon in nearby Howard closed, and its owner asked Joe and Danica to offer his team a home. Joe and Danica embraced the opportunity to grow Salon Fifty Four, and today we have 13 stylists!
